Jerome L. Day Post 48 – 29th Division Association


Post 48 Background:

Post 48 is based in Westminster, MD and is primarily made up of former members of A Battery, 110th Field Artillery and World War II Infantrymen of the 115th and 175th Infantry.

2014/2015 Post 48 Officers:

Senior Vice Commander: Charles Foreman

Junior Vice Commander: Derek Fish

Annual Community Events:

  Assembly of all veterans and their families of the 29th Division.

  Annual “June 6, 1944”, Proclamation honoring the veterans of the 29th Division and their landing on the Normandy beaches during WWII.

  Placement of Memorial Day placards to the grave sites, honoring veterans of the 29th Division.

  Participation in the Westminster Memorial Day Parade. 

  Participation of the 29th Division laying of the wreath at the Arlington National Cemetery.
 
Meetings:

Post 48 meets on the last Thursday of the month at the American Legion in Westminster at 7:00pm, unless otherwise noted on the annual meeting/events schedule.  Veterans and their families are welcome to attend.

Dues: 

Dues are $15 per year after the initial year.
