Battle of North Point Post 58 – 29th Division Association


Post 58 Background:

Post 58 meets the second Wednesday of each month (except July and August) at 1800 hours at the Wells McComas VFW Post in Edgemere until the Dundalk Readiness Center is complete.

Post 58 is the newest Post in the 29th Division Association. It is primarily made up of present and former members of the 175th Infantry (First and Second Battalion) and units based in the southeast Baltimore County including units from Parkville and Glen Burnie

The current list of officers were installed for a period of two years in 2015:

Finance Officer: Dennis Pulket

Executive Director/Adjutant: Bruce Kahl

Historian: Dan Collins

Public Relations: Gene Pulket

Welfare Officer: Bob Cross

Ways & Means Chairman: Bill Pulket

Sgt. at Arms: Rick Knauer

Board of Trustees: Robert Schweitzer

Immediate Past Commander Maryland Region Executive Member: Gene Pulket


Dues are $12.00 per year and based on a January through December schedule. Dues can also be paid by PayPal on our site.

While we are new we are planning several activities during the year, our major projects and events are:

a. The 175th Infantry reunion at the new Dundalk Readiness Center for former and present members.

b. We will mirror the 110th post with an annual Memorial Service and Picnic. We will read the names of all of the members of the175th Infantry Regiment who gave their lives in World War II, and those soldiers and Post members that have passed since the last ceremony. It is followed by a picnic for all Post members and their families.

Post 58 is an active post and always looking to add members. All current and former members of Maryland Guard Units are welcome.
