Eder-George Post 85 – 29th Division Association
Northeastern Maryland


Post 85 Background:

Post 85 is based in Northeastern Maryland and is primarily made up of former members of of the 115th Infantry and people residing in Harford and Cecil Counties and the upper Eastern Shore of Maryland.    The Post was established in Elkton, MD on the 9th of January 1948.

2013/2014 Post 85 Officers:

Post 85 Dues Structure:  Dues are $10 per year.

Annual Community Events:

  Throughout the year, Post 85 has a very active Honor Guard providing ceremonial salutes and firings during holidays and to honor    departed service veterans of all the armed services.

  Annual D-Day Dinner in June of each year

  Thanksgiving Dinner each November

These are the regular 2015 Eder-George Post 85 Business Meeting dates, w/coffee and doughnuts, to be held at the VFW Post 6027 in North East MD at 0945-1100

If schools are closed in Cecil or Harford counties the meeting will be postponed one week.

Election of officers was postponed to 7 January 2015 because we lacked a quorum at our December meeting. Installation of new officers will be on 4 Feb 2015.
