Baltimore Post #1
Also known as the Cradle of the Association
Chartered 21 June 1921

Baltimore Post #1 is a unique post in that most of its members are spread throughout the United States and includes two members who reside in England. Because of this, we have no meetings or events at this time.

We hope to expand our ranks – especially encouraging new and young recruits to become members. Our Post is relatively small but as the oldest Post in the Association, we are striving to maintain our standing within the Association.

For many years PNC Samuel Krauss, a decorated WWII veteran and early National Commander served as our Post Commander.

Upon his untimely death, command of the Post passed on to John Vaccarino, currently serving coincidentally as National Commander of the Association. John is also Adjutant and Treasurer of the Post.

We are now thrilled to offer our members and perspective new members the option of paying their annual dues with the use of a debit or credit card thru “PayPal”. To do so, just click on the button below marked “Donation”. In the purpose block and amount box please submit at least $12 for dues; any extra funds you may wish to donate will be used to support the Twenty-Niner Sustaining Fund.

Our overseas members are especially encouraged to use this “PayPal” option to simplify the currency exchange process.

Post Commander: NC I. John Vaccarino

Preamble: To perpetuate the friendships we cherish; to keep alive the spirit that never knew defeat;
to glorify our dead, and to further keep before our country, the record of the 29th Division in all the wars;
we associate ourselves in an organization
known as the 29th Division Association.
