“This is one of the most fascinating accounts of the Army I have ever read. I bought this to give to my nephew, whose mother’s father was part of the 29th and went in on D-Day. I want him to understand and remember what those men did.” – Amazon.com reviewer
Written by Joseph Ewing, the book tells the history of one of the greatest infantry divisions this country has seen. Originally published in 1948 by Washington Infantry Journal Press, the copyright had expired when the 29th Division Association received a request to purchase the book several years ago. The Association arranged to have it reprinted and make it available for sale.
