Meetings: Regular Post Meetings are luncheon meetings held on the second Wednesday of March, June, and November at Kay‘s Restaurant in the Cambridge-Dorchester Airport on Bucktown Road. The annual Post Family Cookout and Crab Feast is held on the first Saturday in October each year.

Membership: The Post membership is made up of regular and associate members who mostly live on the Eastern Shore but is open to all regardless of where you live. Regular members are individuals (and their descendants) who serve or served in any unit that was organic to or affiliated with the 29th Division at any point in the history of the Division. Associate members are individuals who served in any other branch of the Military Services or had a family member who served in any other branch of the Military.

Dues: Yearly Dues are $12.00 National gets $5.00 and the Post gets $7.00.

Activities are as follows:

The March meeting is our annual election of Post Officers who then serve to March of the following year.

At each regular meeting we try to have a quest speaker with a presentation relevant to the mission of the Association.

The Post annually participates in :

  •  The Memorial Day Veterans Wreath Laying Ceremony with a Color Guard at Long Wharf Park, High Street, Cambridge, MD.
  • The Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery Wreath Laying Ceremony on May 31st in Hurlock with a Color Guard.
  • The Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery Armistice/Veterans Day Ceremony in November with a Color Guard.

Each year the Post conducts its Christmas Holiday Season Socks Drive to visit shut-in Veterans in their homes and in several Eastern Shore Nursing Homes. Teams from the Post distribute a poinsettia plant, lap blanket, and pair of socks to each Veteran visited.

Also during the Holiday Season in December the Post conducts a Holiday luncheon in Crisfield and another on Salisbury for members and friends of the Post in those areas.

Significant others of Post members can join the Ladies of the Post for $5.00. The Ladies of the Post work with the Post Welfare Officer to organize the Holiday Socks Drive activities. The Ladies of the Post send cards to Veterans on the Shore for several Holidays.
