Meetings: Lantern Post 729 Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at The Parlor House Restaurant on South Potomac St. In Waynesboro, located in the Potomac Center Mall beside the Save-a-lot Grocery Store. Waynesboro, PA 17268. Start Time 8:00 am.
Please note this is a change to an old location from the one that was used in for a few months in 2015.
Membership: The Post membership is primarily made up of former 729th members and a number of former veterans of different Branches of the military.

The Wreath Laying Ceremony at The Hagerstown Courthouse, Hagerstown, MD.
The Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Park in Smithburg ,MD.
The Memorial Day Parade in Waynesboro, PA on July 4th.
The post will host our annual picnic in July as well as our annual Christmas party in December, date and place to be announced in Chinstrap or call Ward Simmons at 717-762-2259 for more information.
